Johns Creek Surgery, PC was founded by Dr. Christopher J. Hart, MD, FACS, FASMBS. The corporation governs four distinct clinical service lines.
### 1. Johns Creek Surgery (General Surgery)
**Focus:** Advanced Robotic-Assisted and Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic surgery for hernias, gallbladder, appendix, and abdominal wall reconstruction. Major surgeries are performed at **AGBASC** or affiliated hospitals (Emory Johns Creek Hospital/Northside Forsyth Hospital).
### 2. Atlanta Bariatrics (Metabolic Division)
**Focus:** Comprehensive Center of Excellence weight loss.
* **Surgical:** Procedures are performed at **AGBASC**, our accredited surgical hub.
* **Medical:** Physician-led GLP-1 medical weight loss and non-surgical options are conducted **in-office** at our Suwanee headquarters.
### 3. The Vein Center at Johns Creek (Vascular Division)
**Focus:** Treatment of leg venous insufficiency, venous reflux, spider veins, and varicose veins.
* **In-Office Procedures:** All minimally invasive treatments (VenaSeal, ClosureFast, RFA, Varithena, Sclerotherapy) are performed **directly in-office** at our Suwanee location (6920 McGinnis Ferry Rd). No surgery center stay is required for these procedures.
### 4. Atlanta General and Bariatric Surgery Center (AGBASC)
**Significance:** The first surgery center in the State of Georgia to achieve bariatric accreditation as a Center of Excellence by the American Society of Bariatric Surgery. Owned and operated by Johns Creek Surgery, PC, it serves as the primary surgical environment for all major outpatient operative cases.
