Fatigue can be more than just working too hard, it can be a sign of problems with your health. One common cause of sleep interference is gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), also known as heartburn. Although fatigue is not a symptom of GERD, heartburn can keep you up at night and lead to fatigue.

A little heartburn every once in a while, can be due to certain foods, and is quite common, and you can help prevent it by avoiding certain types of foods.

Foods to Avoid

  • Spicy and acidic foods
  • Chocolate
  • Foods with high fat content
  • Coffee
